Brief background SAWCAA Project- Somaliland Animal Welfare and Care Action (SAWCAA)  is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting welfare and Care for a variety of beings, collaborating with national and international organizations to advocate for compassionate practices and uphold interconnected health and well-being through One Health initiatives. SAWCA Project was founded in 2021 in Somaliland to address the growing need for animal welfare advocacy in Hargeisa, Somaliland. 2. Objectives 2.1. advocate for animal rights, lobby for laws and policies promoting humane treatment. 2.2. Rescue and rehabilitate animals in distress by providing medical care, shelter, and food. 2.3.
